OTTAWA, ON — August 24, 2026 — Canadian producer Popkris has been appointed Chief Musical Engineer for the Ottawa Strong: After the Storm Community Recovery Benefit Concert & Media Production, taking place September 1, 2026 at Britannia Park in Ottawa.

In the role, Popkris will help shape the musical direction and production experience for the one-time community recovery mission, bringing together artists, sound, performance and creative coordination as Ottawa Strong prepares for launch.

Presented by H2OBoy Inc., Ottawa Strong combines music, technology, community, resilience, innovation and sustainability within its Earth → Moon → Earth mission theme: "Living and Working on the Moon."

As Chief Musical Engineer, Popkris will work with the Ottawa Strong team and participating performers to help coordinate the musical presentation and support the overall creative vision for the September 1 production.

The event runs from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Britannia Park and is limited to a maximum attendance of 499 under City of Ottawa Permit #R129717.
